Story

A New Beginning.
Starting May 2020, We are slowing down from producing full, seasonal  collections to instead releasing a single, highly curated look every month.
Each look may consist of between one and three pieces, depending on the season and style.
By moving to this approach it allows us to place more focus on the essential pieces for your wardrobe and develop those individual items with greater love and attention than we could ordinarily.
Furthermore, it serves to reduce the amount of waste produced through the creation of full collections. It is our intention to do the very best we can to develop the brand in a responsible way.

Yeon was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Inspired by her mother, an avid home sewer, Yeon began reimagining her clothes using her mother's leftover fabrics from an early age. Despite her father's wishes, Yeon yearned to see the world and moved to New York City at twenty-one to pursue her dreams.

While studying at Parsons, Yeon interned with Thakoon and Proenza Schouler. In 2009, before graduation, she interned with the design team at Donna Karan Collection. In 2017, Yeon launched her namesake label after spending two years researching and developing exquisite fabrics and apprenticing with the world's best artisans in France.

Yeon and her small team are based in New York City. From there, each pattern is brought to life in Italy and New York City. Yeon designs for modern women who appreciate hand-crafted, sophisticated fabrics and slow fashion. Her pieces are intended to be collected, lived in, and cherished for a lifetime.
